Delete your account
Applies to siyarawellness.com and the Siyara mobile app (iOS & Android, bundle ID com.siyarawellness.app).
You can delete your Siyara member account at any time. This page tells you exactly how to do it, what data goes away immediately, and what Indian law requires us to retain for a limited period in archival storage.
Quick summary
- If you can still sign in: open the Siyara app or website, go to Profile, scroll to Delete account, and confirm.
- If you can no longer sign in: email support@siyarawellness.com from the email address on the account.
- Your login credentials are removed immediately. Clinical and financial records are retained only for the minimum periods Indian law requires, then permanently deleted.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (recommended)
Mobile app (iOS / Android)
- Open the Siyara app.
- Tap Sign in in the bottom navigation if you are not already logged in.
- After login, tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom of the Profile screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
Website
- Go to siyarawellness.com/me/login and sign in.
- Click My profile.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section.
- Click Delete account and confirm.
Both paths immediately remove your login credentials, disable your account, and decouple your member identity from future records. You will be signed out instantly.
Option 2: Email us (for users who cannot sign in)
If you have forgotten your password, your email has changed, or you cannot otherwise access the app, send a deletion request to:

To help us locate your account quickly, please include:
- The email address on your account
- The phone number you registered with (if you remember it)
- Your full name as it appears on the account
We will acknowledge your request within 7 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We may verify your identity before processing the request — typically by confirming a few details that only the account holder would know.
What is deleted
The following is removed or anonymised immediately when you delete your account:
- Your login email and password hash
- Your profile name, phone, and preferred language
- Push notification tokens (your device will stop receiving notifications from us)
- Active wellness class entitlements (class packs and memberships)
- Active session cookies (you will be signed out on every device)
What is retained, and for how long
Indian medical and financial regulations require us to keep certain records for a minimum period. These records are moved to isolated archival storage and are not used for any operational purpose. They are permanently deleted at the end of the retention period.
- Clinical records (treatment plans, progress notes, intake forms, uploaded reports): retained for at least 3 years after your last visit, in line with Indian medical record-keeping norms. Records of minors are retained until 3 years after they turn 18.
- Financial records (invoices, receipts, tax records): retained for at least 8 years as required by the Indian Income Tax Act.
- Audit and access logs: retained for 2 years for security and dispute resolution.
- Backups: rolling 30-day window. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
The historical record of "an account with this email previously claimed the free intro class" is preserved permanently (as a soft-deleted row), so the same email cannot claim the one-time intro offer a second time after deletion. No personal data beyond the email itself is retained for this purpose.
Once deletion is complete
- You will no longer be able to sign in at siyarawellness.com/me/login or in the mobile app.
- Any future visit to our clinic is treated as a new patient registration; you can create a fresh account at that time.
- Refunds for outstanding class-pack credits, if any, are handled separately — please email us before deletion if you have a paid pack you want refunded.
